127 – Couple questions about the new team up card frenemies from the new next evolution expansion, can you choose to only remove 3 threat from 1 scheme and not 3 from a different one? And if you remove 3 threat from a side scheme with a crisis icon with the first part of the “and” sentence, are you able to remove 3 threat from the main scheme with the second part of the “and” sentence?

Answer

With Frenemies, you can’t choose to only remove threat from 1 scheme if you’re able to remove from 2. However, if you are prevented from removing from more than 1 scheme, you can still remove threat from 1. To restate, you can’t “choose” only 1, but it’s fine if you can only do 1.
No. The two instances of threat removal are simultaneous, not consecutive. In the situation described, you could not remove threat from the main scheme because there’s a crisis icon in play.
