Question
I have some questions to consult with you.
1. I played Squirrel Girl. If there are a total of two enemies in play, in what order should I deal damage to the two enemies? Should I first resolve all the damage steps for one enemy, and then resolve for the other? Or should I follow the damage step table, where the next step is resolved after the previous step for both enemies?
2. If Spectrum (Leadership Ally) tucked Captain America’s Shield (Leadership Upgrade). I trigger Captain America (Leadership Upgrade) and add Captain America’s Shield to my hand. Will Spectrum’s basic power change?
3. Can Embody Pathos find Hall of Nastrond that’s been set aside?
4. After a card that defeated Evaluate Threat and was added to the hand is discarded from the hand, and then returned to the hand within the same phase, will the cost of that card be reduced? …
Answer
- Squirrel Girl deals damage to the enemies simultaneously, so you would resolve the damage steps for both enemies at the same time, in either order unless one has priority on a given step indicated by the Simultaneous Timing Priority chart (e.g. one that has an Interrupt to being dealt damage resolves that ability before one that has a Response to being dealt damage).
- If the card tucked under Spectrum were later removed (e.g. an ability returned it to hand), then Spectrum would not receive a bonus to her stat(s). Though her ability is currently not phrased as a constant ability, it should only have an effect while a card is tucked under her. We do not intend to make players remember the state of a card that left play some time ago.

- Yes, since Hall of Nastrond starts the game set aside, Hercules’s Embody Pathos is able to “find” and reveal it. Note that this is not the intended way to play the scenario, but no rule prevents this specific interaction.
- Yes, Evaluate Threat essentially reduces the cost of the searched card by 2 for the next time the player plays it during that phase, even if it leaves and re-enters the hand during that phase.
