While Wasp is in Giant hero form, how does her first ability interact the patrol keyword and the crisis icon?

Wasp’s first ability allows her basic thwart to simultaneously remove threat from each scheme that Wasp chooses. Wasp cannot choose the main scheme as a target while she is engaged with a minion with the patrol keyword or there is a card with a crisis icon in play. Due to the simultaneous nature of this ability, this applies even if the card with the patrol keyword or crisis icon is removed from play during her basic thwart’s resolution.
