How does White Queen’s constant ability work?

The phrase “you are confused” instructs you to place a confused status card on your identity. Because White Queen uses this phrase as a constant ability, she continuously places confused status cards on the engaged player’s identity until that identity cannot have any more confused status cards (normally one, but can be more, such as when the identity has the steady keyword). If that identity attempts to thwart, they can do so and remove their confused status card(s), but will immediately be given more confused status cards. When White Queen leaves play, any confused status cards remain on the identity until that identity attempts to thwart in order to remove them.
